U.S. House panel to vote Wednesday on bills targeting Big Tech
The U.S. House Judiciary Committee will vote on Wednesday on a package of six antitrust bills, which include measures to tackle the dominance of Big Tech firms such as Amazon.com Inc and Alphabet Inc's Google. The bills will be discussed and amended in committee before being voted on, with the aim of deciding whether they should be put to a vote in the House of Representatives. Two of the bills are aimed at preventing large companies from creating a platform for other businesses and then competing against them.0
