Olympics-U.S. sending large, experienced team to reclaim share of medals in Beijing
The U.S. is sending its second-largest Winter Olympic team ever to Beijing next month, with 222 athletes hoping to bring home medals after a disappointing performance in Pyeongchang. The U.S. earned 23 medals in 2018, the fewest since the 1998 Nagano Games. This year's team includes 99 returning Olympians, four of whom are five-time Olympians, making it the most experienced U.S. Winter Olympic squad ever.0
