Naomi Osaka, Japan's great hope for tennis gold, was defeated in the third round of the Tokyo 2020 Olympics tournament on Tuesday. Osaka admitted she had not been able to handle the pressure of the occasion, losing 6-1 6-4 to Czech Marketa Vondrousova. The result was a setback for Japan's hopes of a gold medal.
