Olympics-Tennis-Djokovic’s Golden Slam dreams dashed, Zverev faces Khachanov in final
Novak Djokovic's attempt to become the first man to achieve the Golden Slam was thwarted on Friday when he was defeated by Alexander Zverev of Germany in the singles semi-finals of the Tokyo Games. Zverev rallied from a set and a break down to secure a remarkable 1-6 6-3 6-1 victory over the world number one from Serbia, earning himself a spot in the final against Karen Khachanov of the Russian Olympic Committee. This marks the first time a German man has reached an Olympic final since Tommy Haas won silver at the Sydney Games in 2000.0
