Olympics-Canada sends mix of veterans, rookies in bid to reclaim women’s ice hockey gold
Marie-Philip Poulin and Rebecca Johnston will be participating in their fourth Olympics as Canada attempts to reclaim the gold medal in women's ice hockey at the Beijing Games. On Tuesday, 10 rookies were also added to the roster. Since women's hockey was included in the Olympic programme in 1998, Canada has won a medal in every Olympics, winning four consecutive golds from 2002. However, in the 2018 Pyeongchang Games, they had to settle for silver after losing to the United States in a shootout.0
