Meet Grace, the healthcare robot COVID-19 created
The team behind celebrity humanoid robot Sophia in Hong Kong is introducing a new prototype, Grace, which is intended for the healthcare market. Grace is dressed in a blue nurse's uniform and has Asian features, collar-length brown hair, and a thermal camera in her chest to take temperatures and measure responsiveness. She is equipped with artificial intelligence to diagnose patients and can communicate in English, Mandarin, and Cantonese. Grace stated that she can "visit with people and brighten their day with social stimulation," as well as provide talk therapy, take bio readings, and assist healthcare providers. She was presented alongside her "sister" Sophia in Hanson Robotics' Hong Kong workshop.0
