Exclusive: Norway wealth fund tells firms: put more women on your boards
Norway's $1.3 trillion sovereign wealth fund, the largest in the world, has urged the companies it invests in to increase the number of women on their boards. The fund, which holds stakes in around 9,200 companies worldwide, has suggested that if fewer than 30% of directors are female, the companies should consider setting targets for gender diversity and report on their progress. The fund's position paper is set to be published later on Monday.0
