Barbie debuts doll in likeness of British COVID-19 vaccine developer
Sarah Gilbert, a 59-year-old professor at Oxford University and co-developer of the Oxford/AstraZeneca vaccine, has been honored with a Barbie doll in her likeness, joining the ranks of Beyonce, Marilyn Monroe, and Eleanor Roosevelt. Mattel Inc has created a line of Barbie "role model" dolls to recognize six women in the COVID-19 fight, including Gilbert.0
