A sick couple rushed to marry on UK COVID ward
Elizabeth Kerr and Simon O’Brien, a British couple, had been preparing to wed in June, but the coronavirus pandemic changed their plans. Both were taken to Milton Keynes University Hospital in the same ambulance when their oxygen levels dropped dangerously low. The medical staff had to act quickly to arrange a wedding before it was too late, as O’Brien's condition deteriorated and he was moved to the intensive care unit (ICU).0
